This book does exactly what is says on the cover, all 100 pages are filled with good, clear photos of German vehicles in various stages of abandonment or destruction. For those of you who picked up Volume 1 last year and thought that it couldn't get better then check out the second instalment in this fantastic series! The black and white photos are nearly all one to a page with no examples running over the spine ruining the image. Each picture is captioned with what the vehicle is and where and when the picture was taken where possible.

Amongst the Panthers, Hummels, Panzer IVs and Stugs in states of disrepair are rare photos of Pantherstellung and dug in Panzer IVs in Berlin, a wood gas powered Panzer II and a little Panzer I fitted with a 7.5cm from a Stug III. How could such a small platform handle the recoil?

VERDICT: The Panzerwrecks Volumes are an excellent source to modellers, both for vehicle reference material and diorama inspiration.

Highly recommended.
