Xtreme Modelling Issue 17

More fascinating than the first volume, this second title in the Panzerwrecks series is already available. Lee Archer and Bill Auerbach have done it again with 96 pages of full, big format pictures that show an immense variety of captured, destroyed or simply abandond vehicles in the last months of the war in areas as disparate as Berlin, Italy, Vienna, Yugoslavia, etc. A few examples really worthy of attention is the Pz.IB equipped with the StuK40 75mm gun from a StuG, the Borgward BIV, Pantherturms, and the Sd.Kfz.251/21 in Berlin, a captured train in Ljubliana loaded with a multitude of Sd.Kfz 251/17, Sd.Kfz 251/22 and Italian M41 and M42. The "famous" station of Znojmo with vehicles of every type is also included. All of this as well as an entire jungle of Panthers, Flakpanzers, Sturmmörsers, etc! In summary, this is a mighty impressive collection of 118 unpublished and well produced pictures, and is an ideal reference and inspiration for a multitude of projects.

A must!
