Panzer Tracts No.15-2 – m.S.P.W. (Sd.Kfz.251) documents the history of the variants, production, organisation, issue, tactics, and employment from 1939 to 1942.

The authors travelled to South Africa to measure and document the last surviving Ausf.B, and numerous trips were made to measure a surviving Ausf.C with a riveted armour body to create detailed as-built drawings. This in-depth research also allowed the creation of accurate drawings of the related Ausf.A and the often misidentified mittlere ungepanzerte Mannschaftstransportwagen (Sd.Kfz.251).

The text and data in all Panzer Tracts books are based solely on primary sources. Twenty-four drawings and 56 rare photos illustrate this 52-page book.
