Writer, publisher, company director

Lee Archer is a World War 2 researcher and writer whose fascination with the subject took off in the 1990s when he created master models for Accurate Armour of Scotland. That early work opened a door into deeper historical investigation, and he has been exploring it ever since. Today, he lives and works in the rural south of England, digging into archives and assembling the stories behind German armoured warfare.

William Auerbach ✟
Author

Bill Auerbach was a World War 2 armour historian and writer from Long Island, New York, known for his meticulous research into German AFVs. A SUNY Brockport graduate who worked in the business machines industry, he became a familiar name in magazines such as Military Modelling, World War II Journal and AFV News before publishing numerous books through Panzerwrecks. Bill was supportive and warm, and his work built a lasting foundation for researchers and modellers. Bill died in 2015, but his writing remains an essential part of the field.
