Panzer Tracts No. 22-1: leichter Zugkraftwagen 1t (Sd.Kfz.10) Ausf.A & B offers in-depth documentation on the development and production of the leichter Zugkraftwagen 1t (Sd.Kfz.10) half-tracks.
Authors Hilary Louis Doyle and Thomas L. Jentz dedicated hundreds of hours travelling worldwide to measure surviving examples accurately. Using a CAD program, they created detailed 1:1 scale drawings printed at 1:35 scale, reflecting the original assembly firms’ tolerances.
This comprehensive book traces the evolution of German military vehicles from the first D ll 1 (Demag Liliput Model 1) of 1935 to the le.Zgkw.1t (Sd.Kfz.10) Ausf.B mit Pritschen-Aufbau built in 1944. It covers various variants, with significant attention to the Flak versions, providing a thorough understanding of these vehicles.
Panzerwrecks, in collaboration with Hilary Doyle, has enhanced this essential volume with additional pages, photographs, and a new chapter on Pak conversions. This book is a must-have for enthusiasts seeking accurate information and detailed scale drawings of this vital German military workhorse.

Author
Tom was from Indiana and spent a year at Purdue University before serving in an armoured unit of the US Army in Germany, later completing nuclear training with the Army. After returning to civilian life, he worked as a nuclear health physicist and consultant to the nuclear industry, living with his family near the US National Archives in Washington, DC. His interest in military history was shaped by stories from his Uncle Ed, who the Wehrmacht had captured in North Africa after an action in which 100 Sherman tanks were destroyed.
