Panzer Tracts No.3-3: Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf.J, L, M & N
In Panzer Tracts No.3-3: Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf.J, L, M & N, Thomas Jentz and Hilary Doyle meticulously detail the development and production of the final four versions of the Panzerkampfwagen III.
The authors conducted extensive global travels, spending countless hours measuring surviving Panzerkampfwagen III. They produced precise 1:1 scale drawings using advanced CAD software, with scaled versions at 1:35 or 1:10, maintaining the original assembly firms’ tolerances. The book includes 1:35 scale CAD drawings for three Ausf.J, four Ausf.L, one Ausf.M and four Ausf.N variants, alongside detailed depictions of the hull and turret variations. Additionally, comprehensive 1:10 scale CAD drawings cover specific components, tools, and fixtures spanning 12 pages.
This text comprehensively explores the evolution of the Ausf. J-N models and their respective modifications. It includes production statistics and details on chassis allocations to assembly plants, aiding in identifying vehicles in operational contexts.
Collaborating closely with Hilary Doyle, Panzerwrecks has significantly enhanced this essential publication with expanded content and a wealth of new photographs. This updated edition is an indispensable resource for accurate historical insights and precise scale drawings of the Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf.J, L, M, and N.
