Konec 2. Svetove Valky Na Havlicko Brodsku (The end of World War 2 in Havlickuv Brod)
The end of World War 2 in Havlickuv Brod documents exactly that in 627 black and white photos over 300-pages. The book is a fascinating insight into this final part of the war in Czechoslovakia, even if you don’t read Czech. Most of the photos were taken by private citizens and show the liberating Russian forces along with the surrendering and destroyed German forces. Among the 627 photos, there are many that will be of use to the AFV, aircraft or diorama modeller.
Author Mgr. Michal Kamp is the director of the Muzeum Havlickuv Brod. Please note that this book is written in Czech
